has returned to active year-round service at its Caroline Islands base after an
extensive structural refit at a large Philippines ship repair facility.
Timed
to match expanding world travel desires, this restructure adds new dimensions
and pleasures to dive cruising through mid Pacific island paradises.
Fresh
features and upgrades provide this venerable ship with a tasteful modern touch
to sturdy seaworthy origins. A re-designed guest lounge, new streamlined deck
and topside profiles, plus innovative anti-roll stabilizers are a partial list
of many constructive modifications.
Undisputedly,
the largest and longest operating leisure dive ship, this steam powered classic
regains her lead in combining broad luxury features and dedicated personal dive
operations with the industry’s most attractive luxury live aboard prices.
Restructures
include two new ‘state of art’ 30ft RIB dive launches that are industry pace setters
of their own. These units just completed at Brisbane’s Australian Rigid Inflatable
Boats feature twin 150 HP 4 stroke motors, between motors walk up transom stairs,
full sun tops, plastic side curtains, fresh water showers, triple tiered camera
tables, under seat lockable guest gear bins, and two personal dive guides plus
boatman for just 8 diver loads. Heavy 8mm aluminum hull plating, VHF radios, compass,
and full cockpit lighting add to the many comforts of diving at magnificent Truk
Lagoon.
