To Valued Marketers/Agents selling Thorfinn dive packages,
We genuinely thank all those agents and marketers that
supported and offered their best wishes during our most trying times from ship's
salvage through to final re-emergence as a brightly rebuilt and much redesigned
dive cruiser.
The many changes incorporated during this major
USD $2.3M program have created a product more suited to our trade than ever before,
and now puts this ship at top of the line judging by earliest comments from mouths
of our first 6 weeks' charter groups after resuming full dive services back at
home base Truk Lagoon.
Without more on the changes, we wish
to inform everyone that we too, feel our product is now second to no other and
deserves the accolades being received. At same time we must face up to mounting
costs and financial considerations arising from latest capital inputs and bring
our package costs into line with most others that we meet or exceed in features
and equipments.
However, as an incentive to get sales flowing
in positive directions and to fill various voids left from cautiously waiting
divers, we have created an incentive booking program for balance of 2008 at
currently published price levels, but with generously increased commission structures
for all new bookings within balance of this year.
This new
structure has been labeled as a Post Rebuilding Incentive or 'PRI' for short,
and will provide commissions to all recognized wholesalers at an increase to
30% on all commissionable portions of our packages. These same initiatives
of a 10% commission increase will apply to all tour organizers and other trip
organizers.
We plan to maintain these commission levels
into 2009, or even possibly increase them on an incentive basis of annual
person day bookings accredited to each booking source, perhaps not dissimilar
from some airline programs.
Weekly dive packages for 2009
will be restructured to higher levels with more inclusions, and will match or
possibly even exceed those of close competitors. These prices are coinciding with
much enhanced service and technical standards which will meet or exceed all expectations
from your top level clientele.
At this stage we welcome any
and all constructive inputs and comments on these changes and new profiles to
